Safflower

Safflower is commonly used as a coloring alternative to Saffron. It gives an attractive yellow coloring when used in cooking, though may not have much flavor on its own.
Using the petals to make Herbal tea is also very popular and is beleived to have numerous health benefits.
Safflower comes from the thistlelike Eurasian Plant of the disy family.
