Tarragon

Artemisia dracunculus. The species name, dracunculus means "little dragon", was given due to the roots of Tarragon curling and coiling much like the fictional animal would.
 
Tarragon is one of the four fine herbs of French cooking, and is particually well suited for chicken, fish and egg dishes.
